Arriving in Florence:
We recommend arriving on July 10th to settle in comfortably and enjoy exploring the city before the celebrations begin.
Getting to Florence:
You can fly directly to Florence Airport (FLR) or land in Rome (FCO) and take a train to Florence. Trains are fast, comfortable, and luggage-friendly.

Train Options:
- Direct Train from Rome FCO to Florence (Santa Maria Novella - SMN)
- High-speed trains run every 20-30 minutes with Italo or Frecciarossa (both great options).
- Your train will stop at Roma Termini—just stay onboard, no need to change trains (depending on ticket you buy; sometimes you need to change trains)

AS For American and Canadian passport holders, As of February 2025, the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is scheduled to be implemented in mid-2025. Once in effect, U.S. and Canadian citizens will need to obtain an ETIAS authorization before traveling to Italy or any other Schengen member country. This authorization will allow stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism or business purposes. The ETIAS is valid for three years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. For the most current information, please consult the official ETIAS website.
